About the Role

Do you love creating memorable guest experiences, sharing the best of Asheville, and making people feel right at home? Blind Tiger Asheville is looking for a warm, energetic, and versatile Guest Service Associate Innkeeper to join our boutique hospitality team.

At Blind Tiger Asheville , hospitality is more than a check-in—it's about genuine connection, thoughtful details, and giving every guest an experience worth remembering. As the face of our guest house, you'll combine exceptional guest service with hands-on care of our beautiful property.

This is a unique hybrid hospitality role . In addition to welcoming and assisting guests, you'll step in to support our housekeeping team when needed, helping ensure every room and common area reflects the high standards our guests expect from Blind Tiger Asheville .

What You'll Do

Guest Service & Hosting

• Welcome, check in, and check out guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine Southern hospitality.
• Be an enthusiastic steward of hospitality and provide guests with the “insider's scoop” on Asheville's best restaurants, attractions, shops, breweries, and hidden gems.
• Manage reservations, monitor emails, answer guest questions, and resolve concerns with confidence and professionalism.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and create positive interactions at every touchpoint.
• Set up, maintain, and break down our complimentary breakfast buffet and coffee service.
• Maintain a welcoming, polished atmosphere throughout the guest house.

Housekeeping Support

When needed, you'll jump in as a Room Attendant to help keep the guest experience exceptional.

• Clean guest rooms and common areas to established quality standards.
• Strip and make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and perform other room-attendant duties.
• Replenish guest supplies and amenities.
• Inspect rooms and ensure features and equipment are clean and in good working order.
• Take pride in the details that make a stay at Blind Tiger Asheville special.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays .
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds .
• Previous hospitality, hotel, guest service, or housekeeping experience is a plus.
