- Provide direct patient care including vitals, point-of-care testing, injections, and clinical procedures
- Ensure seamless visit preparation - chart review, pre-visit planning, and care gap identification - so providers can focus on what they do best
- Serve as a clinical resource and problem-solver on the floor every day
- Supervise, coach, and inspire a team of Medical Assistants and Lead MA
- Conduct performance evaluations, facilitate training, and foster a culture of accountability and growth
- Lead by example - set the standard for professionalism, teamwork, and patient-centered care
- Share responsibility for CLIA compliance , ensuring laboratory and point-of-care testing meets all regulatory standards
- Share oversight of Vaccines for Children (VFC) program compliance , including proper vaccine storage, handling, documentation, and audit readiness
- Support supply and inventory management to keep operations running smoothly and cost-effectively
- Champion quality improvement initiatives - identify opportunities, track metrics, and drive meaningful change.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - helping us better connect with the communities we serve.
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience in an FQHC, community health center, or safety-net clinic.
- Familiarity with CLIA regulations, VFC program requirements, and quality improvement methodologies.

- Active Medical Assistant Certificatio n (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Demonstrated experience working in a medical office or clinical setting
- Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- A genuine passion for community health and serving diverse patient populations
