Job Summary
Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties.

A medical office front desk assistant handles a variety of administrative and customer service tasks, including:

Greeting Patients : Checking in patients, verifying personal and insurance details.
Scheduling Appointments : Coordinating appointments and sending reminders.
Answering Phones : Providing information and directing calls to the right departments.
Managing Records : Organizing patient files and maintaining confidentiality.
Billing & Insurance : Verifying insurance, collecting payments, and processing claims.
Correspondence : Sending appointment reminders and follow-up communication.
Coordinating with Staff : Relaying messages between patients and medical professionals.
Maintaining Supplies : Ordering office materials and keeping the office stocked.
Managing the Waiting Area : Ensuring a clean, comfortable space for patients.
Handling Emergencies : Responding to urgent situations calmly and following office protocols.

Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Job Qualifications
Education: MA/MOA/CNA Certificate/Associate 's degree
Experience: Min 1 year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Licenses/Certifications: CPR and first aid certification required; certification as a medical assistant (CMA/CNA) preferred
