Hiring a store Manager for Tay’s Cheesesteaks.

Tay's Cheesesteaks is known for serving authentic cheesesteaks with a focus on quality, consistency, and great customer service. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager who can lead a team, maintain high operational standards, and help drive continued growth.

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including team leadership, customer service, food quality, staffing, inventory management, and financial performance. This is a working management position that requires leadership on the floor and a commitment to creating a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
• Maintain food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Manage scheduling and labor costs
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and waste control
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
• Train new employees and ensure adherence to company procedures
• Monitor restaurant performance and implement improvements
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and health regulations
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee development

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Experience managing labor, food costs, and inventory
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Experience with POS systems and restaurant operations preferred
