Coffee Bar Attendant

Under the direction of the Rise Restaurant Assistant Manager, Coffee Bar Attendant provides customers with prompt service and quality food and beverages while ensuring a positive guest service experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Greets and takes guest orders in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Prepares hot and cold food orders (i.e. coffee and espresso drinks), including sandwiches.
• Collect various forms of payment to process orders using the cash register and applies monies and makes accurate change.
• Keeps service area, guest tables, and storage area clean, sanitary, and organized at all times.
• Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have or relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate Assistant Manager on duty.
• Performs all side work and stocking of supplies at assigned station, and maintains all food service carts in the outlet.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely fashion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service and/or coffee bar/barista, as well as in cashiering/money handling preferred.
• Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
• Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
• Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• The department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; management expectation is that you must be able to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
