Accounts Payable Clerk A confidential company in Vero Beach is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join its growing team. This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to become temp-to-hire for the right candidate. The company is experiencing significant growth, resulting in increasing invoice volume and a consistent need for skilled AP professionals who can manage a large workload while maintaining accuracy. Responsibilities: Process and manually enter approximately 400-500 invoices per week Review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation Code non-PO invoices to the correct general ledger accounts Assist with weekly payment processing and check runs Support weekly payment batches Research and resolve invoice discrepancies Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation Work closely with the accounting team to ensure timely payment processing Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls Qualifications: 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience Experience handling high-volume invoice processing Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to accurately code invoices to general ledger accounts Understanding of AP processes, payment runs, and invoice reconciliation Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong organizational and communication skills What We're Looking For: Someone comfortable managing a large volume of work with minimal automation A team player who can prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy under pressure An individual who takes ownership of their workload and enjoys working in a growing organization
