Technical Project Manager

Position Details Location: Houston, Texas Job Type: Contract Salary: $36.83 - $50.00 per hour Work Hours: 8am - 5pm Education: Bachelors Responsibilities Plan site engineering activities and conduct daily inspections to ensure installations, assembly, and commissioning comply with blueprints, specifications, and safety standards. Serve as the primary onsite technical leader, managing multi-discipline field teams, subcontractors, and trade labor while creatively resolving issues to maintain project schedules. Lead comprehensive field documentation, including punch lists and safety walkdowns (LOTO/PPE), and proactively communicate project status and risks to leadership and the customer. Provide hands‑on troubleshooting for electrical, basic mechanical, and controls systems, utilizing a working knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switchgear systems. Drive formal project acceptance, manage contract close‑out activities, and secure final customer sign‑off to ensure contractual commitments are fulfilled on schedule and within budget.
