Join us and help improve lives with better indoor air quality.****Job Title:** Human Resource Intern**Location:** Hartford, WI**Department:** Human Resources**Position Type:** Internship## ## **Position Summary**Join the Broan-NuTone Human Resources Team to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources while making a meaningful impact on the employee experience! As an HR Intern, you will partner with Talent and Site HR teams to support key people initiatives, business projects, and process improvement efforts. This role provides exposure to a variety of HR disciplines, including talent management, employee engagement, benefits, HR operations, and organizational effectiveness.## ## **Key Responsibilities*** Contribute to projects that enhance employee experience, talent development, engagement, and HR operational excellence.* Assist with research, analysis, and recommendations related to HR programs, processes, and best practices.* Support the development, review, and maintenance of HR documentation, including job descriptions, policies, procedures, and employee resources* Conduct audits and data reviews to identify opportunities for accuracy, consistency, compliance, and process improvement.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on a variety of business and HR-related projects.* Take ownership of assigned projects from planning through execution while receiving mentorship from HR professionals.* Support additional team priorities and strategic initiatives as business needs evolve.* Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment while handling sensitive employee, and business information.## **Qualifications*** Currently pursuing a degree, certificate, or training program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.* Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.* Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.* Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.* Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail.## ## **Preferred Qualifications*** Previous internship, part-time work, volunteer, project, or campus leadership experience.* Coursework or experience related to the department or business area.## ## **What the Intern Will Gain*** Exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources, including Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Experience, and Organizational Development.* Experience working on real business challenges and projects that impact employees and organizational success.* Opportunities to develop skills in project management, data analysis, business communication, problem-solving, and process improvement.* Mentorship and networking opportunities with HR leaders and business professionals.## ## **Schedule and Duration**This internship is expected to run from Tuesday June 1, 2027 through Friday August 20, 2027 The anticipated schedule is full-time 40 hour work week, with work performed hybrid (Monday – Thursday in person, Friday remote).*At Broan NuTone, we take pride in offering exceptional benefit packages and a highly competitive pay structure to our employees.
