Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with K-12 students with a variety of learning needs
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to adapt instruction for students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and areas for growth
• Deliver specialized instruction, interventions, and supports based on students’ unique learning profiles
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and administrators
• Maintain accurate student records, document progress, and comply with relevant federal and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings, student conferences, and professional development sessions
• Adapt curriculum materials and classroom activities to ensure accessibility and engagement for all students
