Key Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Ability to manage a mild to moderate self-contained caseload (approximately 12 students)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to middle school students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Implement IEPs effectively and contribute to IEP meetings
• Adapt lesson plans to meet diverse student needs
• Work collaboratively with assistants, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records
