The JOB The Catering Manager is responsible for the coordination, servicing, and execution of all catering events—from weddings and social gatherings to group functions—ensuring flawless delivery of the client’s vision. Unlike a sales role, this position is focused on building lasting relationships, overseeing event details, and partnering with operations teams to deliver extraordinary guest experiences.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients after the event has been booked, ensuring all details are confirmed and communicated internally. Conduct thorough pre-event planning, including reviewing menus, room setups, timelines, and audiovisual needs. Coordinate with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of all event details. Anticipate guest and client needs, respond promptly, and resolve concerns to ensure satisfaction. Manage on-site event servicing, from setup through breakdown, ensuring quality and consistency. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. Stay knowledgeable of: Event function space, capacities, and room features (lighting, sound, AV capabilities). Banquet service standards and menu options. Billing, guarantee policies, and service charge guidelines. Effectively handle multiple events simultaneously with attention to detail and professionalism. Build positive guest and team member relationships while upholding Noble House service standards.
