Physical Therapist Acute

Nealy Pierce, LLC is partnering with a leading hospital to hire an Acute Care Physical Therapist. In this full-time, on-site role, you will deliver evidence-based evaluation and treatment for medically complex and post-surgical patients across acute units. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and rehab teams to design and adjust care plans, focusing on safe mobility, improved function, and timely discharge. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, functional mobility and gait training, patient and family education, and thorough EMR documentation. You’ll participate in interdisciplinary rounds, contribute to quality and outcomes initiatives, and may mentor staff or students. The ideal candidate brings strong acute care clinical skills, excellent communication, and a patient-centered mindset aligned with Nealy Pierce’s relationship-driven, high-integrity approach to improving patient care through better hospital leadership and frontline practice.
