Our client is seeking both junior and lateral attorneys to join its expanding medical malpractice group across Orange County and Los Angeles. Position Overview You will handle sophisticated medical malpractice defense matters in a collaborative, well-supported environment. Attorneys are given real responsibility early, backed by strong mentorship, partners, and dedicated paralegal/law clerk support. You’ll manage cases through all stages of litigation with exposure to strategy, depositions, and trial work. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. Junior: 1–4 years of litigation experience (insurance defense preferred; workers’ comp considered). Lateral: 4+ years of California medical malpractice defense experience. Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills. Ability to manage cases independently while working in a team-driven environment. What's in it for you The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
