Chef Manager – Baylor Scott & White Waxahachie Hospital, Waxahachie, TX Job Responsibilities Train and manage kitchen personnel; supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food items Select and develop recipes; standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality Establish presentation techniques and quality standards; plan and price menus Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance and uphold safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction and demonstrate techniques as needed Perform additional duties as required to meet commitments or address changing job responsibilities Qualifications 2‑3 years of related experience 2‑3 years of post‑high school education or equivalent experience Culinary degree preferred Advanced knowledge of food‑profession principles and practices Experience managing personnel and/or problem‑solving Strong oral, reading, and written communication skills Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Aramark provides equal employment opportunity.
