We are seeking a strong multi-craft Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing operation in Villa Rica, GA. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and be comfortable troubleshooting equipment independently while working closely with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production systems
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Support saws, presses, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, chains, bearings, and production equipment
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects
- Read schematics and troubleshoot electrical control systems
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance personnel to improve uptime and reliability
Preferred Experience
- Industrial maintenance or multi-craft maintenance experience
- Troubleshooting 480V 3-phase electrical systems
- Hydraulics and pneumatics experience
- Motors, gearboxes, chains, bearings, and mechanical power transmission systems
- VFD and basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently and make sound repair decisions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in a physically active maintenance role
