Human Resources Manager

An agriculture company based in Salinas is seeking a bilingual Human Resource Manager on a direct hire basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting employees. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with company goals and legal requirements. Manage recruitment and staffing processes, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring. Administer employee benefits programs and handle employee relations issues. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Conduct employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Oversee performance management processes and support managerial staff in employee evaluations. Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and reports. Serve as a liaison between management and employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the agriculture industry. Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. Must have union experience. Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
