ResponsibilitiesHazTek is seeking an experienced EHS Safety Professional in West Point, PA to support a pharmaceutical construction project involving demolition and hazardous material remediation activities. This role requires a proactive safety leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.Responsibilities:Provide daily EHS oversight for demolition and hazardous material remediation activitiesConduct routine site inspections, audits, and safety observationsMonitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirementsSet up, calibrate, and interpret gas monitoring equipmentIdentify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and promote a strong safety cultureParticipate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and incident investigationsMaintain accurate safety documentation and reportingQualificationsOSHA 30 required, 510 highly preferredExperience supporting demolition and lead remediation projectsAbility to set up and read gas monitoring equipmentCurrent HAZMAT physical requiredStrong communication and hazard recognition skillsExperience in pharmaceutical or industrial construction environments preferredEmbody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, AccountabilityOvertime available as project needs requireOverviewHazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
