We'll support you with training and robust benefits as we work together to defend and define the future.The Procurement Specialist (Band 2) responsibilities will encompass:Approaching competitive and non-competitive sourcing in request for quotationsOptimizing volume pricing through bid package strategiesEvaluating supplier proposals and placing compliant purchase ordersExtracting, monitoring, analyzing, and validating data information from multiple sourcesDeveloping engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolutionCandidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry.Basic Qualifications for Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Band 2):Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/project management, business management, or information systemsExperience in MS Office suiteAbility to obtain a U.S. Government security clearanceU.S. citizenshipPreferred Qualifications:Experience with FAR/DFAR, including cyber security requirements (such as FAR 52.204-7012, DFARS View phone number on click.appcast.io, etc.)Experience with SAPExperience using the Ariba SLP Portal for onboarding NGC suppliersExperience with negotiations with suppliersPrimary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
