The Position AnovaWorks is looking for a Nurse Practitioner NP or Physician Assistant PA in Selah, WA. A qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will perform the following functions: Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care. Requirements The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant should have the following qualifications: 1+ year performing occupational health exams (Preferred) Previous experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care or ER (preferred) Ability to build rapport with patients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant should have the following education/license/certification WA Advanced Practitioner License (Required) AANC/ NCCPA (Required) DEA License (Required) Master's Degree (Required) DOT Medical Examiner Certified (Preferred, but not required) Training will be provided upon hire to obtain DOT Certification.
