Join our team at Baolicious Dumpling! We're looking for a friendly, upbeat, and hardworking FOH Server who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering amazing guest experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a vibrant food service environment.
About us
Baolicious is proud to be a part of the heart of the central Austin community! We specialize in handmade Xiaolongbaos, dumplings, pan-friend buns, noodles, authentic soups and many more items from many different regions in China. We are a growing, fast-paced, fast-casual restaurant that focuses on teamwork and providing top notch customer service to our Austin/ACC/UT community.
Pay: $5-7 +Tips
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, excellent, and attentive service to guests
- Operate TOAST POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with both FOH and BOH team members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Handle multiple tables while maintaining a positive enthusiasm
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items
- Communicate guest dietary restrictions and ensure accuracy with orders
- Handle phone communication with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering inquiries with clear, friendly communication
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is highly preferred, especially in FOH/Serving roles
- Friendly, upbeat personality with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and reservation management tools
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and team-player mindset
- Attention to detail, especially regarding food allergies and guest safety
- Reliable, enthusiatic, and punctual
