Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:30 - 17:00). No weekends, no nights, and no major holidays.

Job Description

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer will be responsible for performing detailed ultrasounds for high-risk maternal and fetal patients. This role requires proficiency in fetal echo and the ability to assist with procedures such as amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS. The sonographer will work closely with a team of three MFM physicians to report findings from up to 9 ultrasounds daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed ultrasound imaging for high-risk maternal and fetal patients.
• Conduct fetal echocardiograms.
• Assist in various procedures, including amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS.
• Report ultrasound findings to MFM physicians.
• Maintain familiarity with ultrasound practices and equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of OB-GYN experience required.
• Certification in ARDMS OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
