Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art facility, designed to promote patient comfort and safety while maximizing clinical efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Patient assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of dermatological conditions and develop patient-centered treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Clinical Independence: While practicing within the scope designated by our supervising physician, you'll be expected to manage a caseload efficiently, often seeing 30+ patients per day.
• Documentation: Utilize EMA, our Electronic Health Record system, for accurate and timely patient documentation, ensuring all interactions and treatments are properly recorded.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to clinic staff, contributing to a cohesive and supportive team environment that enhances patient care.
• Patient Education: Take an active role in educating patients about their conditions, treatment options, and skin health, fostering an environment of trust and informed decision-making.
• Procedure Competency: Proficiently perform dermatological procedures including biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy, enhancing our clinical offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be servicing a diverse patient demographic, addressing various skin concerns from cosmetic inquiries to serious dermatological conditions. Our focus is on comprehensive patient care, with an emphasis on collaboration and open communication to ensure that each patient feels valued and understood.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; a Master's degree (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in dermatology is preferred.
• An active Nurse Practitioner state license is mandatory.
• Board certification as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (DNP-BC) or equivalent is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in performing necessary dermatological procedures and familiarity with treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in dermatology.
• Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, particularly with EMA.
• Knowledge of current trends and advancements in dermatological practices.
• A demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on clinical best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 125,000 to 190,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
