What You'll Own:

• Own and oversee all daily accounting and financial operating functions
• Lead the monthly close process, including account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial statements and operational performance metrics
• Identify trends, explain financial variances, and provide actionable insights to leadership
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger
• Evaluate processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
• Process payroll accurately and timely through Paychex
• Administer employee benefits and 401(k) programs
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax requirements and benefits-related filings
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Partner with operational leaders on business decisions, reporting, and growth initiatives
• Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as the company expands

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, leadership experienced is preferred
• Strong experience with financial reporting and month-end close
• Payroll and benefits administration experience required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
