Help Desk Technician

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Help Desk Technician to join our IT Department as an on-site team member. In this role, you will serve as a first point of contact for end users, handling day-to-day technical support while working alongside senior IT staff members in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve help desk tickets for basic account management and desktop support
• Provide remote troubleshooting and support to end users in a timely manner
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff as appropriate
• Assist with the build-out of new and replacement workstations
• Help maintain ticket queue organization and ensure issues are documented and tracked properly

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a help desk or IT support role preferred
• Working knowledge of desktop environments, user account administration, and basic networking
• Familiarity with common ticketing systems and remote support tools
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
