ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an exceptional restaurant operations leader to help drive the next phase of growth for an emerging healthy fast casual restaurant brand.

While this opportunity is posted as a Director of Operations , we are also open to experienced Vice President of Operations and C-Suite executives who have successfully scaled restaurant brands and are excited about building something special.

This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly expanding concept and work directly with ownership on the company's long-term vision. The successful candidate will oversee multi-unit operations while playing a critical role in franchise development, market expansion, leadership development, real estate strategy, operational systems, and scalable growth.

This is not a maintenance position. We are looking for a strategic yet highly hands-on leader who enjoys building businesses, opening restaurants, developing leaders, improving profitability, and creating the infrastructure needed to support continued expansion.

OUR GROWTH STRATEGY

Our immediate focus is expanding and strengthening the Reno market before accelerating growth throughout Las Vegas.

During the first phase of growth, this executive will spend significant time living and working in Reno, building leadership teams, supporting restaurant openings, implementing scalable systems, and establishing operational excellence.

Once Reno is firmly established, the company will shift its attention toward expanding throughout Las Vegas. At that point, this leader will spend extended periods supporting that market while continuing to oversee operations across both regions.

We are looking for someone who embraces going wherever the business needs them most. Candidates should be comfortable temporarily relocating to Reno during the initial growth phase and eventually spending significant time in Las Vegas as the company's expansion evolves.

TRAINING, TRAVEL & MARKET COMMITMENT

This role requires substantial travel, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to helping build a growing restaurant brand.

The successful candidate must be willing to:

• Complete approximately 6 to 8 weeks of out-of-state training before assuming full operational responsibility.

• Spend extended periods living and working in Reno during the company's initial expansion.

• Temporarily relocate to Reno if necessary to support the business.

• Transition into spending significant time in Las Vegas as the company's next phase of growth begins.

• Travel regularly between Reno and Las Vegas to support operations, franchise partners, leadership development, and restaurant openings.

• Lead from the restaurants by working alongside General Managers and leadership teams rather than primarily from a corporate office.

• Adjust market focus as the company's growth strategy evolves.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead multi-unit restaurant operations across multiple markets.

• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain exceptional General Managers and leadership teams.

• Drive P&L performance, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.

• Partner directly with ownership on strategic growth initiatives.

• Help build scalable operational systems capable of supporting rapid expansion.

• Support franchise development and franchisee success.

• Participate in market planning, site selection, and real estate strategy.

• Lead restaurant openings from planning through execution.

• Establish accountability systems, leadership development programs, and operational standards.

• Build the infrastructure necessary to support long-term regional and franchise growth.

IDEAL BACKGROUND

• Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, or C-Suite restaurant leadership experience.

• Proven success leading multi-unit restaurant operations.

• Experience scaling emerging or high-growth restaurant brands.

• Strong franchise development or franchise support experience preferred.

• Restaurant real estate, market development, or site selection experience is a significant plus.

• Excellent financial and P&L management skills.

• Proven ability to develop high-performing General Managers and leadership teams.

• Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable working inside the restaurants.

• Comfortable partnering directly with ownership on long-term business strategy.

• Willing to complete 6 to 8 weeks of training and spend extended periods in both Reno and Las Vegas.
