Shipping Manager - 3rd Shift

Shipping Manager – Coxsackie, NY Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, seeks a Shipping Manager to lead a team of hourly associates on the 3rd shift schedule (6 PM Monday–Friday) at our Coxsackie, NY Distribution Center. The role involves warehouse management, order fulfillment, inventory control, process management, and shift coordination. Responsibilities Plan, produce, and execute fast‑paced operations with leadership and associate development. Ensure safety and regulatory compliance proactively. Lead all aspects of shift operations, including selection, shipping, receiving, cross‑docking, and trailer loading. Establish weekly plans to process all customer volume timely. Supervise quality functions, track service levels, develop quality initiatives, and implement standard methodologies. Balance workload planning to meet budget and production goals. Manage inventory control and overall quality program to maintain daily service levels and perfect‑order metrics. Champion employee engagement through coaching, development programs, and a collaborative environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum 2 years of management experience in supply chain distribution. Experience with WMS and LMS strongly preferred. Proficiency in OSHA and DOT regulations. Project‑management experience desired (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile). Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring, and development initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet timelines. Benefits and Compensation Pay Range: $4,331.70 – $9,529.30 (monthly for salaried roles or hourly for others).
