Location: Dexter, MI 48130 Pay Rate: $18.50/hr, paid weekly Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM Duration: 1-Year Contract

Overview

The Packaging Associate supports production and packaging operations in a manufacturing environment. This position involves labeling, packaging, assembly, inspection, and rework of electronic and mechanical components while following established work instructions and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging, labeling, and production assembly activities.
• Complete repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks involving electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Work from visual aids, diagrams, process sheets, layouts, and written or verbal instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and other production equipment as required.
• Set up initial layouts and prepare materials for production or packaging.
• Perform basic continuity checks on work in process and completed products.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet established quality specifications.
• Identify labeling, packaging, or assembly defects.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble components when required.
• Support testing of assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications.
• Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures.

Required Experience

• Packaging experience.
• Labeling experience.
• Basic knowledge of production or manufacturing processes preferred.
• No specific number of years of experience required.
