Housekeeper

Our client, a dedicated organization committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across their facilities, is seeking a Housekeeper to join their team. As a Housekeeper, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting the organization’s mission to provide a healthy and hygienic space for all visitors and staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Rhinebeck, NY

Pay Range: $16.64/hr

Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

What's the Job?

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of classrooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, restrooms, entrances, cafeterias, and common areas.

• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, desks, and shared equipment.

• Empty trash and recycling receptacles, ensuring proper waste disposal procedures are followed.

• Assist with periodic deep-cleaning projects and support facility maintenance tasks as needed.

What's Needed?

• 1-2 yrs of prior experience required

• Ability to follow safety procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Reliable and punctual with a proactive approach to tasks.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
