As a key member of an education-focused team, you'll primarily visit homes to deliver critical therapy services, helping children reach key developmental milestones. With a start date as soon as possible and a contract running through June 2027, you can make a long-term impact while working independently in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with credentials valid for schools in Oregon
- Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric physical therapy
- Comfort with providing early intervention services and traveling to family homes
- Knowledge of best practices for supporting young children with developmental delays
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability for consulting in early childhood special education (ECSE) settings as needed
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to infants and toddlers, primarily in their home environment
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' mobility and functional needs
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with program requirements
- Offer limited consultation to ECSE programs within the county
- Manage a schedule of 40 hours per week, traveling primarily within Roseburg and to other Douglas County locations as needed
