Research and Development Associate I

job summary:
If you want real bench ownership early in your career, this role puts you right at the center of tissue-targeted drug delivery. Instead of running repetitive routine assays, you will process animal tissues, isolate nucleic acids and proteins, and adapt new bioanalytical protocols straight from scientific literature to evaluate novel biotherapeutics. You will be a great fit if you thrive in hands-on wet lab work, feel comfortable handling animal tissue processing, and enjoy applying molecular tools like qPCR, ELISA, and MSD to solve complex bioanalytical problems. responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Supporting tissue enhanced delivery platform development and portfolio programs
• Processing animal tissues for protein analysis and nucleic acid extraction
• Performing MSD and PCR-based methods for bioanalytical analyses
• Performing cell-based fucntional assays to characterize biotherapeutics
• Establishing SOPs and adapt new protocols from literature
• Maintaining electronic laboratory notebook

 
qualifications:
Required:

• 1+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry/post-bachelor's research
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques (qPCR/ddPCR, ELISA, Western Blot, etc.)
• Ability to independently execute experiments and analyze data
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to productively collaborate in cross-functional and matrixed teams

Preferred:

• Previous experience with animal tissue processing
• Previous experience with ELISA or MSD assays
• Previous experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays
