The Deli Staff/Grill Cook plays a vital role in a small team, specializing in preparing a combination of deli and grill offerings, including cold and hot sandwiches. This evening and weekend shift position requires handling multiple food preparation stations efficiently, ensuring food safety compliance, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to deli and grill menu specifications
• Cook food on the grill, ensuring quality and consistency
• Provide prompt and friendly customer service
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
• Take customer orders accurately and handle cash transactions
• Replenish stock and ingredients as necessary
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet service demands

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Food Handler's Permit

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in food service, preferably in a deli setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
