Service Representative
Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, seeks a Sales and Service Representative to grow environmental services, used oil recycling, and parts cleaning solutions for industrial, automotive, and commercial customers. In this field-based role, you will prospect and develop new accounts, expand existing relationships, and ensure safe, compliant delivery of recycling and waste management programs. Partnering with operations and logistics, you'll support a safety-first, environmentally responsible culture while meeting sales targets and contributing to customers' sustainability goals. This position offers training, strong safety programs, and career growth within Safety-Kleen and the broader Clean Harbors organization.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business for Safety-Kleen environmental and recycling services within an assigned territory.
- Manage and grow existing accounts by understanding customer needs and upselling additional waste management, parts cleaning, and used oil recycling solutions.
- Conduct onsite customer visits, facility walk-throughs, and service reviews to ensure safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and service agreements that align with regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely, safe, and compliant service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM, including pipeline, activities, and forecast reporting.
- Educate customers on environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and Safety-Kleen service offerings.
- Participate in safety meetings, compliance training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent Safety-Kleen at trade shows, industry events, and customer presentations to promote brand and services.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas, margin targets, and key performance indicators set by Sales & Business Development leadership.
