Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN)

Position: Join an established group and help spearhead the development of a new blocked schedule
Practice Team and Support:
- Current group includes full-time and PRN board-certified OB/GYNs
- Full-time CNMs and NPs
- Full office support
Schedule and Clinical Responsibilities:
- 7 on/7 off schedule with a mix of inpatient deliveries, surgeries, and clinic patient care
- Standard clinic hours with an average of 20–25 clinic patients per day and approximately 420 deliveries per year
- Shared weekday call, with CNMs taking first call
Hospital and Referral Network:
- One-hospital coverage at Maria Parham Health, located 40 minutes from Durham
- Level I Nursery
- Direct referrals in place with Duke University for MFM and other specialties
Technology, Equipment and Clinic Resources:
- daVinci Robot onsite
- LEEP equipment and ultrasound onsite in clinic
- Point-of-care testing available in clinic
- Athena and Paragon EMR, with M-Modal for dictation
- Pessary fitting supplies, colposcope, two procedure rooms, and a full supply of instruments for in-office procedures
