Sr. Full Stack Developer Contract/ Contract To Hire Atlanta, GA
We are seeking a talented Java Backend Developer with 2–6 years of experience in Java and AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications while leveraging AWS services to build secure, high-performance cloud-based solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java.
- Build scalable, high-performance solutions that meet business requirements.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS services.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Support production deployments and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–6 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and backend development frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with the AWS Cloud Platform.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and related cloud technologies.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
