Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to gather comprehensive client information and identify specific mental health needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and somatic-based approaches.

• Engage with clients through empathetic listening, facilitating open discussions that guide them in reflecting on their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

• Employ emergency care protocols effectively should clients exhibit immediate emotional distress or risk factors.

• Facilitate mental exercises and organize role-playing activities that will help clients practice coping strategies in real-life scenarios.

• Provide direction on relevant matters of concern, enhancing clients’ understanding and management of their mental health conditions.

• Collaborate with colleagues to determine if additional therapeutic services or referrals are necessary.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records of client progress and interactions to ensure compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.

In this role, you will be working with a diverse clientele, including adults and children facing various mental health challenges. This may include issues surrounding family dynamics, trauma recovery, substance use, and relationship counseling. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Must possess a current, unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license from the state of Texas.

• Minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and workload.
