As GMALs, we drive medical strategy and tactics to establish and elevate the impact of Sarepta’s science and therapies. This role will contribute to our mission through strategic and tactical scientific support of Sarepta’s gene therapy for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This role will report to the Global Medical Affairs Lead for DMD Gene Therapy.The Opportunity to Make a Difference Primary Responsibilities Include:Contribute to the development and execution of GMA strategy for product launch and life-cycle management to bring alignment on key initiatives for the therapeutic area in line with overall Corporate and Medical prioritiesDevelop medical materials (including slides and talking points) for gene therapy and DMD, ensure cross-functional program alignment, and participate in review processesAct as SME to review and approve medical and promotional material including congress materials and symposiaBuild strong relationships that foster working effectively in close collaboration with cross-functional partners to plan and execute tacticsRemain informed of current developments within pertinent medical and scientific communities through familiarity with current literature and attendance at scientific meetingsSupport initiatives to disseminate the scientific and medical impact of our products with key stakeholders (physicians and payers).Contribute to congress, symposia, advisory board and expert committee strategy development and creation of contentWork effectively and in close collaboration with cross-functional partners to plan and execute tacticsServes as a role model of integrity and compliancePerform other related duties as neededTravel approximately quarterly for internal meetings and/or scientific congresses and meetings.More about You Desired Education and Skills: Doctorate degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with 5+ years of relevant experience requiredPreferred experience in gene therapy, rare neuromuscular disorders or related fieldsAnalytical, with a track record of delivering goals while working in high performing diverse teamsDemonstrated success in operating effectively in highly matrixed organizations where influencing skills are critical to day to day successExperience in building strong and effective relationships with thought leaders and healthcare professionalsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deal effectively with deadlines with cross-functional teamsProven strategic thinking skills and ability to interpret and implement strategic directionsArticulate with excellent communication and influencing skillsRecognized by former peers/colleagues/managers for attributes congruent with Sarepta Cultural Values: Patient Mission, Scientific Rigor, Simplicity, Bias to Action, One Sarepta, TrustAbility to travel domestically and internationally as neededWhat Now? Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges.
