Municipal Land Use Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Municipal Land Use Associate in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of experience in land use and zoning, with a focus on public agency representation and environmental protection laws. Duties Conduct land use due diligence and permitting assessments. Develop strategies to achieve client developer goals. Assist clients throughout the permitting process. Provide practical, client-focused advice on complex legal issues. Regularly update clients on the progress of their matters. Requirements 4-6 years of relevant land use and zoning experience. Experience with CEQA, NEPA, and planning and zoning law. Admission to the State Bar of California. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications State Bar of California admission. Skills Excellent writing, research, drafting, and analytical skills. Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude. Team-oriented mindset. Benefits Hybrid work arrangement option.
