Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitor activity, verifying authorized entry points, and reporting suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a welcoming residential environment by assisting with routine inquiries, maintaining awareness of daily activity, and reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
