Patent Prosecution and Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Patent Prosecution and Litigation Associate to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have experience in intellectual property, particularly in drafting and patent prosecution, with a background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. Duties Draft and prosecute patent applications. Engage in litigation related to patent disputes. Collaborate with a team on complex legal matters. Conduct legal research and analysis. Requirements 2-6 years of legal experience in patent law. Admitted to the USPTO. Licensed to practice law or ability to become licensed in the state of employment. Experience with wireless communication standards (5G, 6G, 3GPP) is preferred. Design engineering experience with a chip company is a plus. Education Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. Certifications USPTO registration. Skills Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
