Field Representative

Job Responsibilities Perform construction observation services for land development projects involving utility installation, grading, drainage, and pavement construction Serve as a liaison between Project Managers, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders Assist with the administration of construction contracts and project documentation Review project conditions and communicate field observations to the project team Prepare project-related correspondence, reports, and documentation Attend and participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies Arrange and conduct job progress meetings as needed Maintain daily field logs and become thoroughly familiar with project plans and specifications Coordinate with multiple disciplines on complex land development projects Visit project sites regularly to monitor construction progress and compliance Manage time effectively to meet project schedules and client expectations Perform other duties as assigned in support of project delivery Qualifications Construction Management degree preferred, or High School Diploma with relevant construction experience Previous internship or experience in construction observation, construction management, or a related field Familiarity with erosion, sedimentation, and pollution-control practices Familiarity with pavement construction and utility installation Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to prepare concise and accurate reports Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Why Thomas & Hutton?
