Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students as a Certified Elementary Cognitively Impaired Teacher. This contract opportunity begins at the end of August 2026 and continues through late June 2027, working full-time with a dedicated group of young learners in kindergarten through second grade. Your expertise will help shape the academic and personal growth of children with special needs in an onsite school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license with CI (Cognitively Impaired) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement
• Current certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), or willingness to complete and maintain this certification annually
• Experience teaching or supporting elementary students (grades K–2) with cognitive impairments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning space

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust educational strategies
• Employ evidence-based interventions to promote student growth, safety, and independence
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and participation
• Practice proactive classroom and behavior management, emphasizing empathy and positive reinforcement
