This contract opportunity offers both Elementary and Secondary openings, including positions in Resource classrooms, an ASD room, and an Elementary TI setting. Desired Qualifications:

• Active and valid Michigan teaching license in Special Education (no emergency certification accepted)
• Experience or strong interest in elementary or secondary education settings
• Understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies for diverse learning needs
• Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction in either Resource, ASD, or TI classrooms to support individualized student goals
• Assess student progress, modify instruction, and maintain accurate records as required by district or state guidelines
• Collaborate closely with support staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create inclusive, supportive learning environments
• Foster positive relationships with students while managing classroom routines and behaviors effectively
• Participate in professional development and engage in ongoing learning to stay current in best practices
