Billing Specialist
Location: Pasadena, TX
Compensation: $21–$24/hour

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team in Pasadena, TX. This position will be responsible for accurate and timely billing, invoice preparation, account reconciliation, and resolving billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and experience working with high-volume billing or accounts receivable processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review billing information for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter and maintain billing data within the accounting system.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer account issues.
- Reconcile billing records and customer accounts.
- Assist with accounts receivable and cash application activities as needed.
- Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account questions.
- Maintain organized billing documentation and records.
- Work closely with internal accounting and operations teams to resolve issues.
- Meet established billing deadlines and accuracy standards.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of billing, accounts receivable, invoicing, or related accounting experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with an ERP or accounting system preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional accounting coursework is a plus.
Compensation & Schedule
- $21–$24/hour
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- On-site in Pasadena, TX
