Staff accountant

Randstad is proud to partner with a leading aviation supplies company to recruit a eager Staff Accountant. Reporting directly to an Accounting Manager to support company growth and goals.


This is a direct hire opportunity role offering a base salary ($60k-$75k) + bonus and an excellent benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance covered 100% for the employee! The company also offers 15 days of PTO plus an additional week paid during the holidays/ end of year.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Month-End: Own the monthly calculation and posting of journal entries for corporate property taxes, bonus pools, and executive allowances.
• Disbursement & Expense Reporting: Serve as the second-tier approval authority for corporate expenses via Concur, managing corporate credit card reconciliations and partnering with AP to record ledger charges.
• Consignment Accounting: Oversee final reviews and accounting analysis for consignment activities, managing purchase payables and generating precise freight-related entries across multiple legacy entities and joint ventures.
• Treasury & Cash Operations: Record and track daily banking inflows and outflows across banks and disbursement accounts
• Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations for primary operating and disbursement accounts, thoroughly documenting any variances against the general ledger.
• Audit Preparedness: Maintain audit-ready documentation and directly upload requested support files
