Preventative Maintenance Coordinator

The role supports maintenance system requirements, tracks, maintains, and monitors business indicators and ensures ISO, KORE, Maintenance Systems, and CAAS compliance. The PM Coordinator works closely with the Asset Care Planner and Part Room Coordinator to kit and set up jobs so mechanics can begin all projects in a timely, well‑organized manner. The position also coordinates scheduled plant work, creates job plans, optimizes PM plans, tasks, and durations. Duties & Responsibilities Supports the Asset Care Planner in creating and sustaining all maintenance plans by entering data recorded on work orders. Corrects preferred maintenance based on feedback and provides backup for the Part Coordinator to receive parts into inventory. Maintains all Asset Risk reports to support PM evaluation and validation processes as prescribed by the Maintenance System standards. Works closely with the maintenance supervisor and Asset Care Planner to optimize PMs, creating, adjusting, combining, or deleting PMs in a continual improvement and risk‑based process. Collaborates with the local CMS administrator and maintenance supervisor to create and track all unscheduled downtime in the PHRED system, supporting root cause analysis and corrective action. Places and creates any requested direct or indirect supply orders to the Parts Coordinator. Generates, evaluates, and supplies needed reports or results using tracking tools for daily shift meetings, weekly staff meetings, and management review. Maintains maintenance personnel schedule postings displayed in the maintenance department and backs up the Asset Care Planner for weekly maintenance scheduling of work orders. Tracks and maintains all maintenance KBIs including budget tracking, MTBF, PM completion rate, on‑time and late rates, and supplier usage versus procurement agreements. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Fundamental knowledge of PM processes. Planning and scheduling knowledge desired. Knowledge of inventory control management desired. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Shipping and receiving experience desired. Attention to detail; CMMS required. Ability to collaborate and work well with others. Ability to work independently or in a team‑driven setting. Basic decision‑making skills. Uses independent judgment and dedication to continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years of work experience. Preferred Qualifications Technical experience in manufacturing equipment repair or parts. SAP experience preferred.
