This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who enjoys interviewing, problem-solving, communicating with people, and making a meaningful impact. Our Recruiters can positively influence the lives of more than 100 teammates every week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Recruit and Interview

• Build a strong candidate pipeline for current and upcoming client needs.
• Contact applicants promptly and prescreen them for available opportunities.
• Conduct meaningful interviews that uncover each candidate's experience, goals, reliability, and ideal work environment.
• Review candidate and job details before interviews and develop customized questions when needed.
• Match qualified candidates with positions where they can be successful.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of recruiting activity.

Develop Recruiting Strategies

• Create recruiting plans based on client requirements and local workforce conditions.
• Use a combination of digital and community-based sourcing methods.
• Test new and creative recruiting ideas and share successful practices with the team.
• Become knowledgeable about the Denver labor market and provide feedback regarding pay, schedules, candidate availability, and job requirements.

Support Clients and Teammates

• Participate in client facility tours and document important details about the work environment and positions.
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to define job opportunities and ensure a smooth transition from sales to recruiting.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and teammates through calls, emails, and messaging.
• Respond promptly to questions, requests, attendance concerns, and other workplace issues-typically within the same business day.
• Monitor turnover and help create strategies that improve teammate retention.
• Ensure candidates meet all client, contractual, and legal onboarding requirements.

Skills and Experience

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Recruiters are expected to build their impact as they gain experience in the position:

• 0-3 months: 45 lives impacted and 1,440 weekly billable hours
• 4-6 months: 75 lives impacted and 2,400 weekly billable hours
• 7-12 months: 100 lives impacted and 3,200 weekly billable hours
• 1+ year: More than 100 lives impacted and 3,200+ weekly billable hours

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A sense of urgency and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence conducting frequent interviews and making placement decisions
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
• A service-focused approach to working with candidates and clients
• Sound judgment, professionalism, and integrity
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
• Ability to learn new recruiting platforms and communication tools
• Willingness to participate in client visits and facility tours
• Previous recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, hospitality, or high-volume administrative experience is preferred

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

• Complete assigned training through Ōnin's learning platforms.
• Participate in daily kickoff and debrief meetings.
• Attend weekly one-on-one development meetings with your leader.
• Use company resources to continually strengthen your recruiting skills.
