Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients’ specific emotional, social, and mental health needs upon entering the detoxification program.

• Collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their recovery goals and preferences.

• Providing ongoing counseling and emotional support, especially during challenging transitions, to foster resilience in clients.

• Advocating for clients' access to essential resources and services, ensuring their rights and needs are met as they navigate their recovery journey.

• Coordinating with an interdisciplinary team that includes medical professionals, therapists, and addiction specialists to deliver holistic care to clients.

• Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and best practices, including assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and counseling notes.

• Utilizing telehealth technology to conduct remote visits, check in on clients' progress, and adjust care plans as necessary.

• Educating clients and their families about available community resources, support groups, and recovery programs to facilitate engagement and recovery.

• Staying updated with current literature and practices in social work to continuously enhance your skills and adherence to ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly involve individuals undergoing treatment for substance use disorders, many of whom may also face co-occurring mental health issues. You will play a crucial role in supporting these individuals and their families by providing tailored support that promotes a better quality of life and successful navigation of recovery challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• At least two years of experience in a social work capacity, with a focus on substance use, mental health, or related fields.

• Strong knowledge of social work principles, community resources, and recovery best practices.
\n
• Exceptional skills in assessment, counseling, and case management.
\n
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and families.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with clients in substance use recovery settings or detox programs is highly preferred. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and the ability to manage crises online will be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
