Human Resources Business Partner (Touro)

Overview The Human Resources Business Partner will provide strategic HR support to designated leaders and employees at Touro Infirmary, a member of LCMC Health. The role supports the Director of Human Resources, leveraging LCMC Health’s HR Centers of Excellence and Shared Services to deliver employee relations and engagement initiatives and to foster a strong workplace culture. Responsibilities Strategic Partnering Responsibilities Work with leaders on job descriptions and compensation planning. Ensure employees and leaders possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet current and future business needs. Provide analytics, insights, and recommendations on talent, leadership, and organizational capability. Collaborate with leaders to support culture and shared mindset activities. Implement workforce strategies and diagnose and resolve workforce issues. Culture Champion Responsibilities Promote and foster a healthy work environment. Interpret and drive departmental employee engagement action planning. Support employee and community engagement activities. Counsel on situational issues and recommend conflict resolution approaches. Advise on performance counseling and discipline. Coach and advise leaders. Operational Responsibilities Coordinate and facilitate employee activity groups. Provide initial support to employees, the HR Director, and hospital leaders. Partner with leaders to maximize effectiveness and efficiency through labor and efficiency initiatives. Track and interpret metrics. Support program implementation for HR Programs, Employee Engagement, Culture, Performance, Quality and Patient Care, measure outcomes, and raise program awareness. Deploy development programs, performance management/appraisal, and talent acquisition tools. Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation using Workday tools and resources. Uphold all compliance standards and programs, including workers' comp intake processing and leave of absence administration. Respond to emergency and disaster situations as needed. Provide feedback on programs to ensure continuous improvement. Handle employee relations, counseling, and progressive discipline. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. At least 3 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 1 year in an HR department. Demonstrated ability in strategic HR partnering, employee relations, compliance, analytics, coaching, workforce planning, and culture change. Working Shift Day shift in the United States of America.
