Your Role with the Company:

The Assistant General Manager assists in managing all operations of the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations with a strong floor presence, ensuring smooth service, high hospitality standards, and a welcoming experience for both new and returning guests
• Coach, support, and develop the front-of-house team, building trust, accountability, and a positive culture while earning the respect of a long-tenured staff
• Manage labor and scheduling across the restaurant, including oversight of the coffee bar, while partnering closely with department leaders to maintain efficient staffing levels
• Coordinate with the Bar Manager to ensure seamless communication and execution between the dining room and bar operations
• Oversee reservations and event coordination for larger parties, including guest communication, event menus, and execution in partnership with the culinary and service teams
• Build strong relationships with regular guests and the surrounding community, serving as a visible and engaged hospitality leader throughout service
• Partner closely with ownership and senior leadership on restaurant performance, operational priorities, and team development

Your Qualifications:

• 2+ years as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager for a $6M+ upscale or fine dining restaurant
• Strong people leader and coach with the ability to build trust, earn the respect of an established team, and foster a positive, collaborative culture
• Hands-on, hospitality-driven leader who thrives on the floor, enjoys building relationships with regular guests, and is committed to growing with the organization long term
• Strong operational and organizational skills with the ability to manage labor effectively and confidently navigate restaurant technology and business systems such as Toast, Resy, TripleSeat, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
