Radiology - Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant

Specialty : Certified PA or Certified NP

Hospital Location : Silverdale, WA

Setting: Office/Clinic 5% and Hospital 95%

Reason for Coverage : APP has retired

Start Date : As soon as credentialed

Length of assignment : 6-9 months

Availability : Full Time, M-F and Call (1-2 weekdays and weekends)

Call: Night call starts at 5pm and goes to 7am.

Hospital Patients per Day : 5-10

Admissions - 0-3

ICU 2-7

Surgeries 1-2

Required procedures : General CV/thoracic surgery - open, Coronary artery bypass surgery - on pump, Valvular - repair, Valvular - replacement

Does this position require OR experience? YES

What is the required background/skills? Cardiothoracic Surgery experience - both in the OR and also management of the patients in the acute care and ICU setting

Will you consider an OR only provider(no rounding, no clinic)? They need to be able to assist and if necessary round or provide clinic support.

License : WA license preferred, however, will consider a provider that will obtain license during the credentialing process
